ART & DRAMA CAMP
at the imagination studio
Imagine the excitement your child will feel when they spend afternoons preparing for their special, magical performance! From whimsical face-paint, props and masks to vibrant drawing and painting lessons in the morning, this summer art camp will create memories that will last a lifetime. Your child will feel like a total art star all week long. The Imagination Studio has joined forces with Brittany Knight to offer a week of visual art and drama lessons, activities and exploration. This camp celebrates the beauty of two art forms with two beautiful teachers in one beautiful camp.
This year’s camp is inspired by the Amazon rainforest- the lungs of the earth. Studio campers will reimagine acclaimed author and environmental leader Lynne Cherry’s much-loved story- The Great Kapok Tree. Through vibrant rainforest and environmentalist inspired painting + drawing lessons, movement, expression and interpretation, studio campers will nurture a deep appreciation for the Amazon- which needs a whole lot of love right now. Set in the dense green Amazon rainforest a series of meaningful interactions stop a man from cutting down a great kapok tree. This is a beautiful story that carefully shifts a paradigm from otherness to wholeness. Whispers in the man’s ear from those who call the rainforest their home create an opportunity for what it means to make a better choice. This Art & Drama camp will open your children’s eyes and hearts and give them language to both feel and know a sense of environmental agency.
Parents are invited to join us on Friday, July 31st at 3:00PM to experience their child’s unforgettable performance with their play The Great Kapok Tree.

Help preserve and enjoy these absolutely stunning childhood art camp memories with a custom photo book made just for you! Books mail directly to your home 4-6 weeks after camp finishes. Kids love to show their family and friends their awesome summer art camp experiences! Books come in a square 8”x 8” format and include photos of your child enjoying these summer art camps. Books are printed and bound in a Toronto from a professional photo lab. These books were a big hit last year! $40 + HST includes the book and all of my time shooting, editing, putting together the layout and ordering the book [a real deal folks].
