THIS ART CAMP IS SERIES OF COLOURFUL ART LESSONS, QUIRKY ART PROJECTS AND IMAGINATIVE PROJECT INVITATIONS THAT WILL INSPIRE STUDENTS TO SEE THE WORLD AROUND THEM THROUGH THE EYES OF AN ARTIST.

In this summer art camp, art students will have the time of their life at The Imagination Studio exploring themes of Vincent van Gogh’s treasury of paintings. Their artist hands will be busy as they sculpt a clay ear magnet, create stunning sunflower paintings, mix magical colours and create one of a kind pop-up cards. Fun is infused in every project and our days include a balance of studio time and nature play. Campers will also learn about van Gogh’s choice of colours and discover a little more about his life and why these paintings are famous in the first place. How does someone who only sold one painting in his lifetime become so important to the story we know of painting today? Stepping into today’s world, we will uncover how van Gogh’s art exists today, whether it’s through the Immersive van Gogh Exhibit, the museum in the Netherlands, on mugs at the AGO and beyond, your children will discover how one artist’s legacy continues to thrive. Painting, drawing, clay play, sunny days by the river and the beautiful art studio… this camp will be a really big highlight of your kiddo’s summer. Each day will feel like it’s own special occasion as we mix our way into the Van Gogh imagination of bright blue-y violets, robin-egg blues, earthy greens and unforgettable bright, rich coloured yellows. Students will leave with not only a beautiful collection of artwork but also a total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring.

Four day camps are awesome because it gives families total weekend and long weekend flexibility without missing a day of camp! They also ease kid burn-out.

★ art friendly clothes (oil paint does not wash out)

★ outdoor gear appropriate for the weather

REGISTRATION DETAILS

INVESTMENT: Early bird (register before April 1st 2024) $460 + HST. Later bird (register After April 1st and before June 15th) $495 + HST

DATES: ☀︎JULY 8/9/10/11, 2024 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) 4 days.

AGES: 5-12

CAMP HOURS: 9AM-3PM Monday-Wednesday. *Thursday is an early pick up day to accommodate our art show! Parents are invited to come celebrate their child/children’s artwork in the studio anytime from 2PM-2:45PM. Studio doors close and camp ends at 3PM on Thursday June 11th.

NOTES: Please do not drop children off before 8:55am (5 minutes before classes start).

LOCATION: The Imagination Studio, 186 Marsh Street, Clarksburg, ON.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. IF BOOKING FOR SUMMER CAMP, ANY BOOKINGS RECEIVED AFTER JUNE 1ST ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND THE 7 DAY GRACE PERIOD IS VOID. THIS IS TOO CLOSE TO CAMP START DATES AND CONSIDERED LAST MINUTE BOOKING FOR US. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD, AND NO ADJUSTMENTS, CREDITS FOR FUTURE SERVICES OR POSTPONEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLED, MISSED OR PARTIALLY ATTENDED CLASSES. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK OR IF THERE ARE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS. WHILE THIS IS INDEED A BUMMER, YOU HAVE COMMITTED YOUR CHILD’S SPOT AND THE IMAGINATION STUDIO IS UNAVAILABLE TO ABSORB THESE BUMMERS, AS WE HAVE BEEN HOLDING YOUR CHILD’S SPOT AND PREPARING FOR SERVICES AND INVESTED TIME AND ENERGY INTO REGISTRATIONS, MARKETING EFFORTS ETC. IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR CHILD’S CAMP ATTENDANCE/COMMITMENT: PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO THE IMAGINATION STUDIO OUTLINING THAT YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ATTENDING. CANCELLATIONS THROUGH ANY OTHER MEANS INCLUDING THROUGH THE WEBSITE OR GOOGLE CALENDARS ARE NOT VALID. YOU MAY SUBMIT BY E-MAIL TO THE IMAGINATION STUDIO A REQUEST TO TRANSFER YOUR CHILD’S SPOT NO LESS THAN JUNE 1ST OF THAT PROGRAM YEAR. REQUESTS SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 1ST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE NOTE THAT REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS (BEFORE JUNE 1ST) DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR CHILD’S SPOT WILL BE FILLED AND THAT YOU MAY RECEIVE A PARTIAL REFUND.
