SUMMER ART CAMP 2025
PET is such a small word for something that takes up so much room in your heart.
Join me at the studio for a week full of animal fun! Our pets are our families, they mean so much to us. And when they leave us, it’s so incredibly painful. This beautiful summer art camp mixes the magic of two of our most loved loves: our kids and our pets.
Students will combine painting and drawing techniques to create heirloom pieces of artwork for everyone in your family to cherish for years to come. These portraits will create an opportunity for your kids to express how they see their beloved pet in the world. One of the key lessons in this course is learning how to scale-up our illustrations. Students will have access to a variety of paint colours, artist ink and tools so they can mix, swish, draw and bring their pet portraits to life. Each portrait will be as unique as the young artist that makes them.
Students will bring in 3 photos of their pet for inspiration and visual guidance. From these, your kiddos will create 2 styles of pet portraits: one painted with mix media on canvas and a second black and white contemporary style portrait made with ink on paper.
THIS Camp also features a LIVE zoo-to-you animal SHOW! Students in this camp will experience an educational and interactive event just for us at the imagination studio! Kiddos will have the opportunity to see, hold and interact with the animals while learning fun facts about them.
Our animal show may include Caiman / small Alligator, Snake, Lizard, Tortoise, Tree Frog, Tarantula, Chinchilla, Hedgehog, Rabbit. *This may change slightly.
Our week of art camp will be infused with funny stories about our furry, scaly and feathered friends, and together in our class, we will celebrate how our pets shape and infuse our lives.

So weather your kid has a goldfish, kitty cat, lizard, dog, pet chicken, pet snail- you name it, or has lost a pet they love so dearly (hello healing art) or is manifesting the pet of their dreams (hello step into your power), this class is inclusive of all the spaces our pets hold, past, present and future.

Parents please join us on the last day of camp for our summer camp Art Show. Your kiddos will have their artworks on display for you to see and celebrate their artistic achievements.

SESSION INCLUDES: Painting and drawing supplies, all materials, guided instruction and studio time.
INVESTMENT: Early bird (registration opens February 1- March 31, 2025) $500+ HST. Later bird (register April 1-June 15, 2025) $535 + HST
DATES: ☀︎ MONDAY-THURSDAY JULY 14/15/16/17 (4 day camp). *Thursday is an early pick up day to accommodate our art show! Parents are invited to come celebrate their child/children’s artwork in the studio anytime from 2PM-2:45PM. Studio doors close and camp ends at 3PM

REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. IF BOOKING FOR SUMMER CAMP, ANY BOOKINGS RECEIVED AFTER JUNE 1ST ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND THE 7 DAY GRACE PERIOD IS VOID. THIS IS TOO CLOSE TO CAMP START DATES AND CONSIDERED LAST MINUTE BOOKING FOR US. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD, AND NO ADJUSTMENTS, CREDITS FOR FUTURE SERVICES OR POSTPONEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLED, MISSED OR PARTIALLY ATTENDED CLASSES. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK OR IF THERE ARE SCHEDULE CONFLICTS. IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR CHILD’S CAMP ATTENDANCE/COMMITMENT: PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO THE IMAGINATION STUDIO OUTLINING THAT YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ATTENDING. CANCELLATIONS THROUGH ANY OTHER MEANS INCLUDING THROUGH THE WEBSITE OR GOOGLE CALENDARS ARE NOT VALID. IF YOUR CHILD IS UNABLE TO ATTEND CAMP AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRANSFER YOUR CHILD’S SPOT TO A KNOWN FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER YOU MAY SUBMIT BY E-MAIL TO THE IMAGINATION STUDIO A REQUEST TO TRANSFER YOUR CHILD’S SPOT BY NO LESS THAN JUNE 1ST OF THAT PROGRAM YEAR. REQUESTS SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 1ST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE NOTE THAT REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS (BEFORE JUNE 1ST) DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOUR CHILD’S SPOT WILL BE FILLED AND THAT THE NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT APPLIES FOR ALL BOOKINGS, REGARDLESS OF CAMP TRANSFERS IF YOUR CHILD’S SPOT IS FILLED.
