ADULT OIL PAINTING CLASSES

FALL 2024

Welcome to a series of Oil Painting sessions designed for open-minded and flexible adults! These classes are ideal for those who have yet to dabble or have limited experience in the world of oil painting and want to learn in a supportive environment. Classes are designed to make oil painting accessible, fun and beautiful so you can both experience the richness of oil painting and leave with an art work that inspires. To help make this experience convenient and easy for you, your materials will be provided during this session. Simply show up to paint! Classes offer an underpainting lesson and guided colour-mixing lessons to support you as we tap into the inspiration of our source image (provided). Together we will start developing both language and understanding of the oil painting process. Classes finish with a gentle critique to help us learn and grow together. Over the course of 4 classes, we will chip away and complete one stunning painting, sip tea together and soak in the creativity together at the studio. In these classes I will share my love of colour, nuance and technical harmony in my beautiful studio.


INVESTMENT: $340 + HST
STUDIO TIME: 11AM-1PM (2 hours)
AGES 18+

DATES:

Class 1: Thursday October 3, 2024.

Class 2: Thursday October 10, 2024.

Class 3: Thursday October 17, 2024.

Class 4: Thursday October 24, 2024.

All painting materials including canvas are provided. If chilly weather is upon us, please bring slippers and a not precious sweater.

★ art friendly clothes (oil paint does not wash out) aprons are provided but cannot guarantee full coverage/protection.

REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. YOU ARE ABLE TO TRANSFER YOUR SPOT TO A FRIEND IF YOU CAN NO LONGER ATTEND THE COURSE. STUDENTS WHO MISS CLASS, DO SO AT THEIR OWN LOSS.
