APRIL BREAK
Join me at the studio for an enriching painting class experience this April Break. Turning to the beauty of our local landscapes students will learn how to capture the essence of The Beaver River through oil painting. Wether it’s canoeing down its gentle currant, swimming at their favourite water hole, dipping their toes at the rivers edge, crossing over our local bridges, or simply observing our local landscape, the river is integral part of of understanding of the world around us.
Students will flourish in this beautiful and immersive alla prima art lesson while being nurtured with my wholehearted mentorship in the studio. Their confidence will grow with every brushstroke as they transform their canvas from white space to realized representation of one of the most important parts of our local watershed. Together we will learn how to capture the essence of the river’s edge, trees, sky and the waters reflection with a painter’s heart.
We will enjoy a nature play at the river park so please dress for the weather. Painting experience is not necessary to enjoy this class. Students will leave with not only a beautiful heirloom painting but a total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring.

INVESTMENT: $100+ HST *includes all materials (oil paints, brushes and a stretched canvas) and studio time.

COVID-19 Public Health measures in place. Students must wear a mask unless they have a medical exemption.
COIVD-19 SPECIFICS
The studio and washroom will thoroughly be sanitized after each class
Students will be required to wear a mask as directed by the Grey Bruce Pubic Health Unit (CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO) and follow the Town of The Blue Mountains mask bylaw (CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO).
Students will not share materials and instead have their own tools to use during classes
Frequent hand-washing is required throughout the class and upon arrival
Hand sanitizer is always available at the entrance of the studio
Parents must screen their children following Public Health Guidelines before entering the studio CLICK HERE for access to the digital screening tool
All student desks are situated in their own independent work station, siblings may share a studio desk
We are committed to social distancing whenever possible
Drop-off and Pick-up procedures in place
Social distance markers have been placed on the floor to help guide participants visually
In the event of a mandatory shut-down, classes will transform to a digital platform and art kits will be provided
Contact tracing in place
Students will experience programming within their assigned group only
EMERGENCY COVID-19 ILLNESS OR SUSPECTED ILLNESS PLAN: Your child's health will be monitored. Students who display or express symptoms will not be allowed to attend class. During the program, if a participant becomes sick, they will be immediately isolated from others and parents will be notified to pick them up within 30 minutes. If you cannot pick up your child within the 30 minute time window you MUST have your emergency contact pick up your child within this time.

CANCELLATION POLICY: FULL PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF ENROLMENT. REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $75 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS. CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE PROGRAM START DATE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT ARE TRANSFERABLE. PLEASE CONTACT THE IMAGINATION STUDIO NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE CAMP TRANSFER FORM. WE REQUIRE A COMPLETE TRANSFER OF CAMP REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE TRANSFERRED PARTICIPANT TO VALIDATE THE TRANSFER 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP.
