THE EVERGREEN GARLAND WORKSHOP
There is something so delicious about the earthy scent of fresh evergreens in early winter. These smells surround us in the forest even on the gloomiest of winter days. The tradition of bringing evergreens indoors has a rich and promising history. Their brilliant smells, lively textures and earthy notes have been offering us contrast during the darker, colder and sometimes gloomier months for hundreds of years. Join me as the studio transforms into a shoppe of earthy evergreens hand picked just for you. I will guide through a beautiful evergreen garland-making workshop where we approach this traditional craft with a sculptural twist. My selection of fresh greens are carefully curated to help you achieve a whimsical, fragrant and earthy garland design. It feels like the forest gives way for this type of magic! This workshop will have you coming back year after year to share in this beautiful seasonal experience with me in good company.
Much like wreaths, garlands are very versatile and can be hung indoors and out doors. Garlands offer a unique advantage of being more adaptable throughout your home. Whether you place your garland on a fireplace mantle, railing, hallway table, dinner table, doorway, or install it on your wall- or outside, your evergreen garland will steal the show.
All skill levels are welcome. Bring good friends and celebrate your creativity in style.
STUDIO TIME: 6PM-8PM
