MARCH BREAK PAINTING CLASS

INSPIRED BY FRIDA KAHLO

WEDNESDAY MARCH 16, 2022.

HELLO FRIDA KAHLO

Welcome to a colourful, bright and stimulating painting class designed for kids age 6-10. This is THE program for kids who love love love painting! Each student will receive a canvas to create a masterpiece the whole family can love. Through the class we will embark upon a vibrant and stimulating exploration of what it means to truly paint in a beautiful art studio. This class is designed to help students develop a language and style in painting and teaches them practical well-guided techniques to achieve their composition with confidence. Students will explore a variety of lessons and applications. This is a beautiful step for kids who express time and time again that they love painting.

Students will be guided throughout the day to create a master-inspired painting as they learn how to mix, blend and apply paint in a fun and functional way. This class is well-guided so your child will learn new and lasting painting techniques. Their confidence will grow as their artwork transforms from blank canvas to colourful painting. In this series we will paint a vibrant and beautiful portrait of Frida Kahlo. Heads up, you will likely want to keep this painting forever and it might just be the best piece of art in your home!

Painting experience is not necessary to enjoy this class. Students will leave with not only a beautiful heirloom painting but a total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring.

“THEY THOUGHT I WAS A SURREALIST, BUT I WASN'T. I NEVER PAINTED DREAMS. I PAINTED MY OWN REALITY.”
