INDIGO WORKSHOP
LET’S FALL IN LOVE WITH INDIGO TOGETHER.
Join me at the studio for an unforgettable evening of creativity as we uncover the magic of indigo. Together we will discover the story of indigo, learn why it is a plant-based powerhouse that has stood the test of time and fall in love with one of the most beautiful colours of blue you may ever set your eyes on. In this workshop, we also learn about the ancient art of Shibori- a traditional Japanese dye technique. We will explore traditional textile resist techniques as I guide you and inspire you to create your very own textile patterning using my plant-based indigo dye from California.
You are welcome to bring your own textile for this workshop so long as it is no bigger than the size of a t-shirt or pillowcase. Please inquire about larger items before the workshop date if you are curious or unsure. Custom DIY Indigo Kits may be available.
All skill levels are welcome. Bring friends and celebrate your creativity in good company.
