FALL SESSION 2022

SATURDAY MORNINGS!

It’s back! This free form large scale painting session is one of my most requested classes ever! This is THE program for kids who love love love free form painting! Each student will receive an oversize canvas flat (primed piece of canvas, not stretched) to create a masterpiece the whole family can love. Through these sessions we will embark upon a vibrant and stimulating exploration of what it means to truly paint. This series is designed to help students develop a language and style in painting that is entirely their own.. Students will explore a variety of techniques, tools and applications and watch as their canvas changes each and every time they paint at the studio. This series is a beautiful first step for kids who express time and time again that they love painting. This workshop generously supplies an oversize canvas substrate flat. Each session introduces new techniques for these budding artists to explore. Your kids will be challenged and stimulated with gentle guidance.

Finished work can be hung as is for a fabric-like look, or can be custom stretched by an art professional.

This session focuses on a process-based painting approach and builds upon recognition of art fundamentals and building a painting vocabulary. These sessions are not about trying to paint representationally to fulfil an objective. Why? So your kids can hone in on their own expressions, develop their own style and learn new and surprising techniques. These sessions are a great stepping stone for kids who are eager or excited to explore the Intro To Oil Painting series.

WORKSHOP INCLUDES: Painting substrate, all materials, guided instruction and studio time.

STUDIO TIME: 10:30AM - 11:45AM

AGES 5-12

Due to the small scale and short frequency of this session, there is no make-up class for this session. An art kit can be sent home so the student can catch up independently.

FULL PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF ENROLMENT. REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $75 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS.CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS (CLASS START DATE) ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT ARE TRANSFERABLE AND ARE VOID OF THE 7 DAY REFUND POLICY. PLEASE CONTACT THE IMAGINATION STUDIO NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE TRANSFER FORM. WE REQUIRE A COMPLETE TRANSFER OF CLASS REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE TRANSFERRED PARTICIPANT TO VALIDATE THE TRANSFER 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. TRANSFER REQUESTS SHOULD BE RECEIVED IN WRITING TO THEIMAGINATIONSTUDIOMAIL@GMAIL.COM.CHILDREN WITHOUT COMPLETED TRANSFER OF CAMP REGISTRATION FORMS BY PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIANS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CAMP. WE ARE UNABLE TO ISSUE CAMP CREDITS. NO CREDITS FOR MISSED CLASSES. Refunds will not be given, and no adjustments (credits) or postponements will be made for missed or partially attended classes. In the event of a mandatory shut-down, classes will transform to a digital platform and art kits will be provided with zoom classes. Please remember this is a small scale family-owned business. Realities presented due to Covid-19 sadly means less flexibility in some instances.
