Inspiring fun and creativity, March Break Art Camp offers your kiddo 3 days of delicious art classes to fill their creative cups! In this camp, we will be exploring the art and beauty of soapstone carvings and illustrated landscapes. Part sculpture camp, part illustration, treat your kids to a well rounded half-week of top tier art classes at The Imagination Studio.

Soapstone is a smooth buttery metamorphic rock that feels similar to a bar of soap. Students will spend time carving, shaping, sanding and polishing their soapstone with child-safe tools. Your kiddos will be surprised in the final steps of this project as each piece of stone has something to reveal!

Next, our creativity will allow us to imagine landscapes through drawing and painting. These landscapes will represent environments where our newly made soapstone animals could live.

On the last day of camp, parents are invited to our ART SHOW! All of these beautiful projects will be on display as a celebration of your children’s creativity.

Students will leave with not only beautiful pieces of art- but also total confidence only an art class at The Imagination Studio can bring. March Break Art Camp at The Imagination Studio carves out a special kind of creative magic for your kids.

CAMP INCLUDES: All materials, guided instruction and studio time. Aprons will be provided to students.

CAMP DATE: MONDAY MARCH 10-WEDNESDAY MARCH 12 (3 DAYS).
INVESTMENT: $350+ HST
STUDIO TIME: 9AM - 2PM Please arrive sometime between 1PM and 1:30PM on Wednesday March 12th for the art show to view student work. Studio doors close at 2PM. Please remove all boots before entering the studio. Grandparents/siblings not registered/and or other family are welcome to come to the art show.

AGES 6-12

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS DAILY:

★ a litter-less, nut-free lunch + snacks

★ full large water bottle

★ slippers + a sweater are recommended for the winter studio classes

★ art friendly clothes (some paints does not wash out)

★ outdoor gear appropriate for the weather

★ a curiosity to learn

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE FIRST 7 DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ALL REFUNDS WITHIN THIS TIME. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER THE 7 DAY BOOKING PERIOD. PLEASE READ FULL TERMS. NO REFUNDS AND NO ADJUSTMENTS AND/OR CREDITS FOR FUTURE SERVICES OR POSTPONEMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLED, MISSED OR PARTIALLY ATTENDED CLASSES.
