If you've already taken my Intro To Shibori Workshop or simply have a crush on the oh so beautiful kimono trend, let’s make sweet art together- art that you wear! Styled with shorts, your favourite summer capris or better yet your summer loving’ bathing suit, you’re invited to style your very own [hand-made] kimono. Think: loose-fitting, breezy, soft, and the most delicious colours of blue you will ever set your eyes on.
Bring your besties and discover why we’re all crazy for kimonos! Together we will learn the tricks of the trade when it comes to the ancient art of Shibori- a traditional Japanese dye technique. Each kimono will be hand-tied + hand-wrapped and dipped into one of my signature ☽☼California☼♒︎ indigo vat’s to transform your kimono from simply white into a one-of-a-kind beautiful addition to your summer look. So whether you are swooning to add this piece to your summer festival wardrobe, make those cottage days feel more dreamy or beach-babe it up all season long, let’s fall in love with indigo together.
Each kimono is hand-made by a local artisan just for you using the softest [and flowy] natural fibres. Kimonos are hand-wash, air dry only. Slight variations in fit may occur due to the natural result of hand-made craftsmanship. One size fits most. If you prefer a larger or petite custom size please contact me well in advance via e-mail and I can make your kimono dreams come true.
